Ambelisimo Noir blended with Maratheftiko does get certain benefits in body, colour and aroma. Red fruits play the dominant role; they just explode from the glass. Red currant, cherry, raspberry, and blackberry with forest freshness, and secondary notes of cocoa powder. Subtle and seamless tannins are not heavy on the palate. Expressive fruit on the palate with more red plums and dark berry flavours, this wine is medium bodied. Freshness and acidity follow you to the finish. Pairing with food, this is an ideal wine for buffet as it can satisfy most of the varied flavours, fish, meat, and poultry.
